Finally after 3 years of being a camper for pbsm camps

after 3 years of waiting, 3 years of anticipating..

i was a committee myself, organizing a 3 days pbsm camp for my juniors.

After 3 months of stress, 3 months of headaches, 3 months of preparation,

my camp had finally come knocking at my door.

After 3 days of fun, 3 days of stress,

3 days of joy, 3 days of being a committee,

3 days of laughters, 3 days of pain,

3 days of tiredness, 3 days of sleep deprivation,

3 days of hunger, 3 days of disappointment at the weather,

3 days of worry, 3 days of everything...

My camp ended at 3.30pm yesterday.

and also this is my last SFI PBSM camp forever...I will miss this life :(

Finally i know, being a committee wasn't as easy as I had thought before...

First of all, the weather suck to shit level...if it wasn't for the rain, everything would be smooth and clean.

Affected activities: tent pitching, sleeping in tents, and backwood cooking.

For my campers, I am sorry I couldn't do anything, and sorry for you that you can't experience the true pbsm camp.

For the activities are the heart of the camp. I hope you guys have learned a lot of things, and continue this tradition when you go to form 4...and pass it on to your juniors, age quod agis.

3D Anaglyph Spree!!!!

Hello guys...long time no blog d.
Well, what drives me back to my blogging mood?
No doubt, it is the 3D world~
well, I believe all of you have heard of 3D picture or 3D anaglyph, or stereoscopy or whatever.
The basic concept of this term is actually applying our knowledge of how our eyes work with our brain, to create a 3-dimensional picture or photo on a 2D surface, which is on computer screen, movie, or a mere picture.
In other words, combination of 2 images (left eye perception and right eye perception).

I was hooked when I first stumbled upon an article about 3D imaging in the Star. And of course, I found it highly intriguing.
As you know, newspapers provides not much information. So, I consulted Mr.Internet.
First thing that appeared on my screen is "stereoscopy".
This is a technique of getting a 3-Dimension without a pair of 3D glasses. It requires a little bit of endurance..haha. What you need to do is just cross your eyes.

For beginners, it would be nauseous and causes eye pain but it is worth doing! Fortunately, when you are used to it, then it will be an ease for you, no nausea, no pain, no dizziness, no nothing.
Well, talk so much no use, I will show you examples...

-How to get a 3D image? very simple:
the left image is the what your left eye sees, and the right one is what is seen by your right eye.
Now, cross your eyes, until you can see 3 yellow cars.
The middle one is the combination of left eye and right eye images.
When you roughly get three pictures d, its time to focus and concentrate hard on the middle image.

See!? Cool right? so surreal and so magnificent...and yea, practise more to acquire this skill without feeling like vomiting.

Now..let's get on to the next level...
now you need a pair of 3D red/cyan glasses, not polarized one.
Here is how I construct my own 3D glasses:

You need

1 red marker (red lens)

1 blue marker (cyan lens)

1 sheet of plastic (lenses)

1 cardboard (frame)

DONT LAUGH..I know they look suck..hehe. But it really works. A cheap and easy method.

If you see it through 3D glasses, the Cyan image will be filtered by the cyan lense, whereas red one will be filtered by red lens. So it is like viewing a 3D one.

I am strangled by tuitions, homework, co-curricular activities.
I can't breathe, like somebody presses my head into water. I am drowned...
But I feel the sense of satisfaction in the suffocating moment. A solid moment, with new things keep rushing in.
I feel it...and I breathe it.
I am still alive! =D

A Small Scrap From My Dull Life

GASP...the small black digits on my watch reminded me of today's date, 17th...a few days more to go to my result's day.
Practically a boring and uneventful day....
when you view me from inside the computer, I have done a lot of activities...
but when you see me from outside, I am just sitting there the whole day, with just the tiny movement of my right hand gliding the mouse across the table surface.

If i am playing Dota, I bet you can hear my mouse being clicked rapidly from metres away, click-click-click-click..that's how a person plays Dota xD...so busy controlling the hero he takes. And the other hand will rest on the keyboard; with each game, the position of each fingers varies. Sometimes the person looks like he is pointing his middle finger to the screen. Believe me, some people might get their fingers tangled when their games reach a peak fight, I personally got it before when I use Meepo.. -.-

Hmm...yesterday I had just created a clan in Garena, after keeping my friends waiting for almost one year...haha. Initially we planned to name our clan as "Fever", but that never materialized since Garena doesn't allow. With every name we suggested, they will just say: "This name is already taken". In the end I got kinda pissed off and selected a name with total randomness. Guess what is it? "Error in Terror". What a gross name -.-. To be frank, I don't like the full name, but I like the tag, ErroR. And I think my new name will be ErroR|Sapphire...hohoho..
This afternoon I had nothing to do and was damn free, so I decided to design a clan logo for Error clan...and below is the result.

It took me only about 15 minutes, without much effort. But it is clean and simple, and I like it =D

Against Time

When days turned into weeks, it is simply the fourth week...couldn't believe I have gone through 1 month of post-PMR.
What have I done so far? nothing. Playing games, watching movies, Facebook-ing, chatting, all being done in front of my flat-screen computer, sitting there almost 24 hours, like an idiot. But only that is able to kill my time.
At school, I will be sitting motionlessly in the hall (or hell?), gawking stupidly at my also-bored friends, sometimes changing my view to the curtain in front when certain movies' nice scenes are being projected for a few seconds. Sometimes I prowl about in the hall and interrupt some of my friends' conversation, then flee to another corner across the hall. The condition in the hall is torturing me too, for the temperature is soaring high, and it is running dangerously low in oxygen.
My only sanctuary - the school library -.-"...and I still have to do work there, but am allowed to rest and slack off for a few while..hehe
More or less the same situation at home...perfectly bored, especially when all my outdoor activities which were well planned before PMR are forced into the ban list of my daily activities.

This moment WAS highly desired, and I am now right in the middle!
Clock is ticking...shall I appreciate this very moment? Or let it flow swiftly since I am bored.
I have about 1 month more to enjoy myself before returning to studying mood, and go back to the same old routine, tonnes of stupid homework, classes of tuition, and time-killing folios...zzz
Soon and soon, I will be facing the fearsome SPM.

I learn that everything starts with one simple sentence.
And I learn that how fragile a person can be, but I don't think our friendship can be so frail.
Well, I didn't really mean anything, just was trying to help someone, all in the name of fun.
But it turned out to be a monstrous misunderstanding, caused by a short sentence too.
I am very uneasy after this has happened, I feel guilty, but was I the only one wrong throughout?
I think I might have sometimes gone beyond bound, if you think so, I would like to apologize. Sorry.
I can't make further comments, I know everything was just plain childish, and it shouldn't have happened.

Final Breath Before PMR

I gotta be crazy! 38 days more and it is creeping silently towards PMR! And yet, I can't understand why I still do not have fear in me. As a last-minute person, I should be already bouncing and jumping up and down frantically. Oh, maybe it is still not last minute yet.

But I hear a far cry from my deep heart core keeps nagging me to lay out all the books and start scanning through them and reminding me that I might not finish my study if I delay. But the other side of me is stopping me, telling me: after holidays only set off your engine...sighs. And so obviously I prefer the second one. But somehow, I still listen to the first me. They are battling against each other to take over my mind. Oh, well, for this moment, the first me takes over me.

Therefore, I am going to make a breath-taking promise to myself or to anyone who is reading this. My presence will be erased forever from your computer... sorry, I mean for 1 month, hehe. It will take full effect starts TOMORROW!! All my activities associated with computer, Internet have to be banned. And I have to keep tennis or badminton or whatever social activities out of my mind. So this will be and MUST BE my last blog post before PMR's arrival. To maintain my motivation, I need to list down all the subjects.

- Sejarah (Form 1,2,3)

- Science (Form 1,2,3)

- Geography (Form 1,2,3)

- KH (Form 1,2,3)

- Languages....

Imagine to revise them all within 1 month... OMG! Time is outrunning the far-thrown me at a devastating rate. I will be dead soon. No way I am going to be sluggish, no way!

Dota and Me

I had been quite a long period of time since I last played Dota. My friends and me decided to play back during this holiday. We karat ad.. T.T have to practice more.
Dota, what does it mean to me? Why did I stop Dota? Although I couldn't really give a definite answer, but I believe certain reasons contribute.
- Human factor. Elaboration is not available for this factor.
- PMR's approaching. A very original reason.
- Exclusive addiction leads to an opposite effect.

Well, last year, I was truly a DotA addict. The addiction was really very scary and terrible. It is too unbelievable to type it out, and it will definitely scare you and you shall faint. To prevent these unhappy things to happen, I decide not to describe how crazy I was.
If anybody out there ask me whether I feel regret, I would say no. I had sacrificed my time and I have got a very valuable lesson from it. The lesson is very meaningful to me. It fuels my rational thinking and I realize. So I will certainly not be a Dota addict anymore even during the end year holidays. Well, even if I want to, but my fear towards Dota addiction will stop me. So it is certainly a good thing. I don't feel a strong temptation from Dota like I used to do anymore.

All right, Dota has now evolved from an electronic computer game into an electronic social sport. We used to ask our friends: hey, wanna go for badminton tomorrow? But now we sometimes replace it as: hey, wanna have a game of DotA?
My teammates are Sau Man, Au Yong, Ryan, and Samuel. Sam, welcome back to DotA world =D
Finally we can stop thinking of recruitment...haha. I talk as if DotA is official. Well, we just do that for fun. And sometimes it can be really nice having 1 team of friends winning the game.

Well, now I have some comments for my team. Firstly, we don't really have a good teamwork, although we are attempting. As D0t@Player says, we need a good coordination of all allies on the map. We are not well coordinated, sometimes we were in a big mess when gank fight. We need to improve that. Secondly, our team spirit. It is very important. Maybe we are too immature to play Dota or what. Every game is attached with arguments among ourselves which sometimes lead us to emo. And yeah, our main objective as a team in Dota is the Frozen Throne, not the digits in the score board up there. Killing doesn't mean everything. So, stop thinking about your frag. In Dota, killing steal is unavoidable. So, don't take it hard, just let it be unless the ks-er has gone over his limit. And one more thing, are you what others say you as? If I say you are a noob, then you become angry, you are technically accepting the "fact". So please stop all your reaction towards the term "noob". I admit i am a noob =D.
Sau man, pardon me cuz I sometimes make you emo when I am your lane partner. :)

Tuesday's Outing Report

Went to watch G.I Joe with darien, brian, wei win, and eugene. I actually reached Dataran at 11am, but I wandered off until 11.30..hehe, Eugene, sorry, I forgot my promise =P
Nothing really interesting happened throughout the outing. Brian didn't bring his student card and was trying to use library card...of course, it was not accepted. So he'd got to play an extra RM1..lol. Coincidentally, we met my BSMM ex-president, Xian Yi. He decided to come along with us.

We entered the theatre...and we were really surprised by the emptiness there! Whole ciniplex only had 20 over people!!! H1N1 fear? A while later, the movie started. 1 hour and 59 minutes without any boring scene, indeed a nice action movie. Well done Stephen Sommers. Have nothing much to comment on that action movie, only 1 word: cool.

And that's all for that day's outing. I moved on to my next plan. Traveled from Dataran through Melaka Raya to Harbour Club and met my friends, sau man, charles, and shui sheng. After tennis for 3 hours, a group of old men aka "bak gua" came and invaded our court. We had played for 3 hours and we let them. Nothing left to do, we went to play table tennis instead! haha. And yeah, I have improved a little..Charles, don't be boastful.
8.00pm only I returned home. What a fatiguing day...my limbs could hardly move. I guess it's time for me to take some rest to recover.

Where's my holiday gone?

Wait a minute! What's so great about it? What does holiday mean to me now? Where is my old kind of feeling towards holiday? No more...no sign of it.

Speedcubing Frenzy!

Today got my proper Rubik's cube from Joel Lee..

The cube's condition satisfies me very much, I would rate the smoothness 10/10!

My fingers can't stop twisting the cube for the entire day!..haha

After a long period of studying, the cube is able shove my boredom away, goodjob cubie!

So far, my record is only 1 minute and 30 seconds.. T.T

But before that i had only a Rubik's Cube keychain to practice.

LOL..not bad for first day.

In this modern age, people are building concrete bridges using high technology, but somewhere in remote area of India, people are growing the living bridges! They train the roots of tress to grow towards the opposite bank of a river. And jus let the time builds a really strong and reliable bridge.

Virus Strike Back!

A fake virus alert popped up by a fake antivuris, which got installed automatically by malicous software into my computer. It is Window Security Suite.

Well, I have done a research on this fake antivirus. It is known as "rogue-software". Once it is installed into your computer, it will edit certain registry values in your computer. By doing that, your current antivirus will be disabled. Your browser will lead you to a fake Google.com which has a high possibility to list out malicious websites in you search. The most annoying effect is the error to enter real Google server. I can't sign in to my blog cuz it is a branch of Google. And now I am on another computer...

Nothing I do could change back my registry values although that Window Security Suite rogue-software had been deleted completely unless reformatting..

Rubik's Pandemic Flu

Everywhere people are twisting the rubik's cube... some are already expert, and some just get infected. i am one of those..hehe. Just started learning and solved my first ever Rubik's cube in my life time...hehe

We were asked to go to 3H classroom to sit for theory test...

I forgot to bring stationery =.=, how could I? Simply, I borrowed a black bawlz pen and a ruler.

All of us get a piece of A4 blank paper, then starting to write down the answer refering to the questions written on the board... The questions are generally hard... what could I do was just tikam, spun my head around, enhanced my satellite signal...but sadly, Pu also dunno the answers... and that is the first "GG"

Time for the practical test. 2 by 2 being called in into BSMM room to be tested. I thought it would be ok, cuz I was quite confident in my bandage skill after times of practices in my house last night. When I was in the room....I didn't do well AT ALL....the most basic one I could get wrong..=.= That is the second "GG"

While waiting for others, we were forced to march. Dunno why, that time we were all very "geli hati". Even something was not hilarious, we found it extremely funny. we hardly held our laughing, and giggling all the time. And we got pumped, for sure... but this one is not GG.

Last section, interview...omg. 1 person was interviewed for 30 minutes or even more than that...=.= We started playing around while waiting. They kicked my water bottle around, they threw Ham's squash ball over the quadrangle...they even threw the ball up to up stairs where a form 4 was there playing catching. The ball hit Pak Chin's shoe when he dropped the ball down. This marked the end of the game. For sure, he was pumped 100...hahahaha

We waited until we rusted....finally it was my turn. Knocked the door, I entered the room, "Good morning...sorry, afternoon" "Sit down..." bla bla bla...then I came out. I was crapping throughout the interview..haha. Luckily Alvin Lee interviewed me...but still, this is the third "GG"...

Shit, I was still a little uncertain of some skills in first aid for tomorrow practical test...or theory test? Whatever. Last-minute plan was not worked well...wanted to go to teddy's house to learn, but his tuition comes after mine, so we could not take out a free time.

I was reading a novel about super natural, manifestation, superstitions, devils, ghosts, demons...

I was alone that night...suddenly the phone ringing outside my room broke the silence.

The novel worked well..shit. I was as feared as the main character inside =.="

Deciding not to go out to pick up the phone...but I still did it...

Gathering my courage, I opened the door to go out, didn't wish to see "things" as in the story...

It was just a bloody call from my sister's friend finding her. I was facing to the way to the dark kitchen that time..

Suddenly...a white figure appeared from the kitchen!!!

I was frozen...and was mumbling to answer the phone call, panic and fear made my body stiffed as well as my brain..thought my heartbeat stopped, for a few seconds. I guess the author of the novel suceeded in his career.

I came back to my senses, and the stupid figure was just a sneaky, cunning, bloody white cat, trying to steal food from my house. But it scared my shit out...

I ran after the dog-face cat...trying to kick its ass. Of course the noob cat ran out from the house. I realized I was more stupid...I forgot to close the door..and this opened a chance for the shit-like cat to sneak into my house...

I still had fear in my heart...it really panicked me. I ran into my room again and locked the door tightly. Not for one minute, my mother came back, phew..sighed of relief. My nostrils were no longer blocked by the mucus..haha

What a nice experience....I wont forget that bloodyshit cat. It is the main suspect of a murder case too! To be continued....

I-Care Environmental Quiz

I join a team in running a pragram in school called I-Care...
Je and Nic are involved too....
Nic and I were asked to organize an environmental quiz as a part of I-Care program...
I am preparing questions for the quiz right now...and I got no freaking idea...what to do.

Bah!...whatever it is...

By the way, is anyone interested to take the quiz? open for all SFI students..
I dunno much about the quiz yet...
It should be held in 2 weeks time, it is divided into lower secondary and upper secondary (we are not in charge of this)
You guys are sure wondering about the fee? I dunno whether it is free or not, not sure...

Blog Header Challenge!

Yeah! Done editing my blog header image!

Before..........

Conflicts in the process:

- my computer ran out of cool and beautiful fonts style....got to download from internet...and it took me some time to get what I like.

- image size didn't fit into the blog header...sucks. I wanted to overlap the image over preset head title...but couldn't do that cuz blogger.com doesn't how to shrink an image perfectly.

- eventually came out with an idea..as before. I positioned the image behind the blog title text. Then went to Font and Color Setting, and blackened the blog title text...booooyah! (you can highlight a hidden blog title)

- thinking of putting a figure of a standing guy...but couldn't google a nice one. After dozens of images, I selected 1 just nice for me...yay!

- Last conflict. I typed in gan-youcantseeme.blogspot.com into the browser and pressed enter. My blog page was loaded. I moved my cursor to top right to click Customize...but I couldn't do that......why??? cuz I hadn't signed in yet... =.="

Chainmail a.k.a Junk Mail

Every time check my mailbox, there are sure a few chain mails...

well, that doesn't really matter....what bothers me is the bloody curse at the bottom of the email...and it is fucking annoying...

Below is and example of the stupid crap:

This is considerably good already..there are some even curse your family...what the hell man...

By the way, I never forward chain mails because of the curse or whateva..not even ONCE!

And I am wondering some people are still forwarding them...why can't they just ignore?

Btw, people sending chain mail cuz they believe what is written inside...

Some forward the chain mails scaring their email accounts will be closed, some don't uderstand how email works by thinking that they can donate money to some people by sending them...and most will do it just for their own sake. They got cursing email, and they just kick off the ball to their friends...inconsiderate

Well, let's talk about the negative effects of junk mail, chain mail is considered as one.

Sending junk mails is a huge wastage of energy.

When you press the "SEND" button, it contributes 0.3 gram of the carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent of greenhouse gas emission to the atmosphere of an already-warming planet...still don't understand? google it.

Transformer ROCKS!

Just watched it last Friday in a hurry with my friend...and appeared to be the first one who left the cinema..pro huh?
Anyway, I enjoyed watching it...IT ROCKS TO GROUND!
I love those transforming parts..very complicated but yet, nice...
their efforts...their creativity..simply amazing.

The coolest transformer this time is the leopard-like machine

I love its movements...smooth and quick...with a very high agility..
I hope there will be a snake transformer in the coming Transformer 3...
and let's see how are they gonna make the snake transform..into a whale? lol

Anyway, I think the story lines for all the movies that have a continuation are not really good,
best example is Terminator...the main idea of the movies are just to protect the human race...
I hope Transformer will not be like that...but sadly, it is starting to be like that...just the war between Decepticons and the Autobots...

maybe in Transformer 3, something else special than war?
